Play is local-first. You don’t make an account to steer a snake. Best scores hang out in your browser storage on this device — gossip, not a stadium. Clear site data and that gossip walks out with it. We don’t keep a cloud copy of your scarf length for later bragging.

What we store locally

Whatever your browser keeps for ordinary page cache after a visit

Sound preference is not restored as “on” from last week’s tab just to surprise a quiet room. Default is off until you poke it.

Analytics

Google Analytics may run when configured (G-Y3Y12VC3M1). It helps us see whether pages load and which doors get used — not to build a personality profile out of your left turns. Questions: contact@playsnakebase.com.

Ads are off for batch 1. If they turn on later, reserved slots stay below the board — never covering the snake grid, never pretending to be a New game button. Vendor names and choices will land here when they’re live. Until then, treat any ad-on-grid sighting as a bug and mail us.

What we don’t do

No play account, no social login wall
No selling “your snake history” as a product
No requirement to enable notifications to move
